Live at Steephill every Tuesday

Tuesdays

Fun and free for over 50s (10:30-12:00)

Still fancy a game?  Like to try it for the first-time?  Designed for the over-50s - men and women - walking cricket is now on offer every Tuesday (10:30-12:00) in the Steephill sports hall.

And it is, for the time being, entirely free thanks to the support of the Isle of Wight Cricket Board (IWCB).  That's led by an IWCB coach;  with all necessary equipment provided; and inclusive of tea or coffee afterwards.

Walking cricket is cricket as you know it.  Just played at a slower pace!  It's perfect for people who are older, or less physically able, but who still want to enjoy the thrill of the game. Or indeed any game that offers a great form of cardio exercise and a new social setting to make new friends and acquaintances.

Check out walking cricket here in videos from the Hampshire Cricket Board and from Bath CC.

And if you've never played cricket before?  Or maybe played rounders?  No problem.  Just get in touch and then come and enjoy the fun.

Tempted?
